Advice for Visitors - from 25th March 2020

Rehability UK are fully committed to keeping our service users and employees as safe as possible and in line with the government guidance. As the guidance develops each day and the number of confirmed cases continues to grow at a considerable rate we cannot deny that our most vulnerable service users are at a great risk.

We have now made the responsible decision to restrict access to all of our care homes and supported living services. For now this means we are respectfully asking relatives and loved ones not to visit. Where circumstances mean that a visit is essential then we will plan for a visit and any requests should be made to the Registered and / Service Manager. We will continue to welcome employees and new service users following our strict protocol.

Visitors guide to our services:
1. Essential visits from relatives and family members should be agreed and organised in advance with the Registered and / or Service Manager. Only a limited number of essential visitors will be given access at any one time and these visits will be restricted to the service users’ rooms.

2. Healthcare professionals will continue to visit and provide appropriate health care advice if this cannot be done over the phone.

3.Professional contractors and internal maintenance will only be carrying out emergency and essential repairs in order to maintain safety.

We understand that these measures may be distressing and upsetting for some and we appreciate your continuous support in our endeavour to keep our service users and employees safe. Please be reassured that we are working diligently to minimise the risk of exposure to all in our care.

Rehability UK will continue to monitor the situation and follow Public Health England guidelines. If you require more information please do contact your respective Service Manager and or go to www.gov.uk./guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

Thank you for your understanding and support.

.

Yours sincerely
