We care about our outstanding services, both in community care and supported living,
where people choose the place they live and how they share their accommodation
We provide accommodation, care and support for adults with learning disabilities, complex health needs, mental health, autism and challenging behaviour from the age of 18.
We are able to offer a bespoke service which is tailored to the individuals needs and choices by placing them at the heart of the service. We have a team of highly skilled and well trained professional staff that understand the importance of a person centred approach and demonstrate this by providing the highest quality of care possible.
Our service has 12 rooms, we provide a programme that is tailored to each individual’s needs and their choice by identifying their goals and aspirations. Through regular key worker meetings, the individual is enabled to pursue their goals and fulfil their potential. We encourage reflective practice to ensure we are providing the best health and social care/support possible. Examples of activities that we offer are: Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, singing and dancing, arts and crafts, cooking and sensory experiences, country walks, accessing local community initiatives, we hold an annual garden party and produce a monthly newsletter to keep families and friends updated with our events. We have a mini bus that is wheelchair accessible which enables us to visit places further afield. We have a sensory room and a dedicated activity room.
We are situated in walking distance to the coast and our residents frequently enjoy visiting Dawlish Warren and Dawlish beach. We are close to Exeter and the forest of Haldon.

“I was made to feel very welcome when I visited the service, and was impressed at the homeliness and ‘atmosphere’ of the home, it felt positive and friendly. The positive support and input from yourself and your team enabled us all to ensure that our client was at the centre of our discussions and that his needs were at all times paramount.

I would like to thank you and your team for welcoming me yesterday.
It has been very informative for me and I had the opportunity to learn and practice so much. I really appreciated how friendly you all were. Although I was initially quite nervous due to having limited experience with PMLD population, you and the rest of the team eased me in and showed me how you care for all your residents.
I also noticed how personalised care can be delivered in such a respectful manner in a residential setting. It was really inspirational to see how all your staff work with residents in such a caring way and the amount of knowledge they have about the specific needs of every individual. Within a short period of time, I was able to observe a professional, friendly and caring attitude from all the staff. This clearly makes all the residents feel at home and at ease.
Thank you so much for allowing me to practice key nursing skills whilst providing guidance. It has been a really great day for me.
