We care about our outstanding services, both in community care and supported living,
where people choose the place they live and how they share their accommodation
In supported living, the adults we care for choose where they live and who they live with. It might be on their own, with someone else or with others. Rehability UK can help you find the right place, with the help of our Housing Trust Partners, and we can develop the right support package with you.
People sometimes think that supported living is just for Adults who only need a couple of hours support a day, but that isn’t the case at all! Your support package is to meet your needs, and we can provide up to twenty-four hour support if that is what you need.
As part of our supported living packages we also provide Outreach Support.
Outreach Support works well for adults with a mild learning disability and/or autism who live in their own homes, and need just a little support. It is sometimes known as Floating Support or Domiciliary Care.
Generally, the adult in receipt of an individual budget funded via their local authority (or occasionally it is self-funded) which they then use to purchase support from us. This varies for each individual, some adults we support need just a few hours a week, some need more. We can provide support for all sorts of reasons, from helping to form friendships and socialise, to support with daily living tasks. Each individual support package is bespoke, tailored to that person.
“I would just like to let you know I love working with the staff at Rehabillity UK, I love my job and I’m obviously a council candidate for the area I work in until further notice I wouldn’t mind going full time.”

“I was made to feel very welcome when I visited the service, and was impressed at the homeliness and ‘atmosphere’ of the home, it felt positive and friendly. The positive support and input from yourself and your team enabled us all to ensure that our client was at the centre of our discussions and that his needs were at all times paramount.

I would like to thank you and your team for welcoming me yesterday.
It has been very informative for me and I had the opportunity to learn and practice so much. I really appreciated how friendly you all were. Although I was initially quite nervous due to having limited experience with PMLD population, you and the rest of the team eased me in and showed me how you care for all your residents.
I also noticed how personalised care can be delivered in such a respectful manner in a residential setting. It was really inspirational to see how all your staff work with residents in such a caring way and the amount of knowledge they have about the specific needs of every individual. Within a short period of time, I was able to observe a professional, friendly and caring attitude from all the staff. This clearly makes all the residents feel at home and at ease.
Thank you so much for allowing me to practice key nursing skills whilst providing guidance. It has been a really great day for me.
