With Rehability our service users have learning difficulties, mental health or autism and require assistance in living as independently as possible; they require help from support workers with identifying support for their particular areas of needs.
The duties can include:
Assessing and providing practical and emotional support for the service user, talking and listening with them.
Assisting with domestic tasks such as: cooking, cleaning, washing and shopping.
Helping the user budget and handle their money and related life skills.
Helping the user attend and participate in leisure activities.
Support Work is normally based on shifts, the hours can depend on the users needs. Regularly you may be working with several clients on a 1:1, 2:1, or group basis.
A Support Worker may be working with service users in their own homes as well as attending activities either on their own or as a group, all depending on the needs of the user.
As long as you have a desire to help people, to communicate clearly and sensitively as well as having more empathetic listening, and problem-solving skills. Rehability offer full training to all of our employees.

Senior Support Worker (Mental Health Support Worker)
Mental Health Support Workers provide basic care, therapy and assistance to patients; monitoring their conditions and providing assistance with daily activities.
Rehability aim to accomplish the primary goal of providing care and therapy to those suffering from mental illness, with this our Mental Health Support Workers perform many tasks that also identify with what the Support Worker does.
It is highly advantageous to have excellent knowledge of mental health care and also be skilled within computer literacy and have the ability to problem solve and de-escalate crisis situations. Previous experience is required with this position as well as being able to work at a flexible schedule.
To be a team leader, you need to be able to organise, contribute and participate:
Assisting the Team Manager in supporting and supervising the team of support workers under your leadership. Organising rotas and monitor and manage sickness in the absence of the Team Manager. To assist in the induction of all new staff and making sure they understand company policies and procedures.
You would also be welcomed into assisting in the development of Person-Centred Plans, and be expected to understand and adhere to procedures where applicable to ensure CQC standards. Contributing to changing to developing practice within your own work area to work with your team to meet performance objectives.
A Team Leader is required to be able to balance providing dirrect support to service users including. Being able to cover workers shifts.
It is required that you are able to drive for this position as well as having leadership experience, preferably experience in the care industry, due to the nature of the position.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, as a Registered Manager you would be helping create and uphold an open positive management culture in The services that you watch over. Participating in Rehability UK’s policies you would also be working towards minimising risks to our service users and employees alike.
Providing leadership of the administration, care and people management functions of the service, you would also be carrying out leadership in the marketing of the service, Ensuring the service is vibrant and financially robust.
Maintaining operations of the service you are covering at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider and also keeping your support and management skills at an appropriate level. This does include undertaking training and development as be required to maintain that currency of practice.
Experience of working with and meeting CQC requirements is required as well as compliance with all relevant reporting obigabtions and procedures. Any experience of working with the CQC is highly advantageous.

Working with the recruitment team you would be supporting on communicating with successful candidates, completing vetting methods to our high standard Completing references, documentation and DBS’ and scheduling holiday’s from employees.
Processing incoming mail and distributing documents, you need to have a high level of customer service and strong administrative skills. You are expected to assist in compiling reports and spreadsheets. You would be great at problem-solving and be able to identify issues in a timely manner, while still keeping yourself organised and prioritizing your workload.
