Devon

Devon is a county in South West England, reaching from the Bristol Channel in the north to the English Channel in the south. It is bounded by Cornwall to the west, Somerset to the north-east and Dorset to the east. Devon is renowned for an assortment of things such as its spectacular coastline, beautiful beaches and of course the Devonshire cream tea, It is also the only county in England that has two National Parks and the only county in the UK to have a non-continuous coastline on both the north and south. The north and south coasts of Devon each have both cliffs and sandy shores, and the county's bays contain seaside resortsfishing towns and ports. The inland terrain is rural, generally hilly.
